Dr Musadik Malik, a recently appointed as Minister for Water & Power in the caretaker setup, is basically an internationally renowned pharmacist/chemist, who has been practicing pharmacy for the last twenty years. He received his pharmacy degree from the Punjab University, and later got the chance to work for a local pharmaceutical company. Musadik's contribution though in research was not significant, yet he got the chance to work with top researchers in the area of pharmacy. Nevertheless, he succeeded to include local herbal and some organic ingredients in the main formula of Sildenafil citrate ( Viagra) which is considered more effective in hot climate, especially in the desert. In fact, Musadik had used seeds of Prickly Pears, Desert Holly, and the Brittlebush, the medicinal plants used in the Development of Desert- Viagra (DV). Desert- Viagra (DV) has altogether different effects as compared to conventional Viagra for the others living in hot and arid region. Just after the preparation of DV, Musadik found the royal family of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman as the exclusive clients. Within a few weeks, he became the Royal physician of these oil rich states. The opportunity opened up new avenues for Musadik to excel in the Pharmacy. On his desire, he was sent to the top American University of Illinois, where he completed his pH D., MBA, and MS with full support of Royals Families of Gulf. The University is ranked as 13th Top University of the World. He has done Master's degree in Pharmacy from UIC College of Pharmacy, the oldest academic unit of the University of Illinois. In addition, he has served as the Vice President and Regional Director of Charles River Associates (CRA International), and held leadership positions at Arthur D. Little and SRI International by the recommendation of Royal family of Gulf. Musadik is co-founder of DNA Health Corp (www.dnahealthcorp.com). The company founded in 2011, Headquarter in Washington DC. Unfortunately, in Pakistan, the word Viagra used only for a specific purpose, although this very wrong image of this magical medicine. In 2007, the Nobel Prize in Aviation went to the scientist, Patricia V. Agostino, of Argentina its discovery that Viagra aids jet lag recovery in hamsters. These scientists had acknowledged the initial work of Musadik. Similarly, Professional athletes have been documented using sildenafil, as the opening of their blood vessels enriches their muscles.
