International Career
Garcia was a member of the Portuguese U-21 team at the 2004 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship, which saw the team finishing third place, yet failing to gain a place to Athens for Olympic football.
He also appeared during the 2006 edition's qualifying stage, but failed to have a place in the final squad as the tournament was held in Portugal.
