Famous quotes containing the words similar, bodies and/or countries:

... a phallocentric culture is more likely to begin its censorship purges with books on pelvic self-examination for women or books containing lyrical paeans to lesbianism than with See Him Tear and Kill Her or similar Mickey-Spillanesque titles.
    Robin Morgan (b. 1941)

“There are bees in this wall.” He struck the clapboards,
Fierce heads looked out; small bodies pivoted.
We rose to go. Sunset blazed on the windows.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)

Americans living in Latin American countries are often more snobbish than the Latins themselves. An American businessman who would think nothing of being seen in a sport shirt on the streets of his home town will be shocked and offended at a suggestion that he appear in Rio de Janeiro, for instance, in anything but a coat and tie.
    Hunter S. Thompson (b. 1939)
