Midge and Bob Pinciotti - Daughters

Daughters

In the early episodes Bob and Midge were depicted as having a total of three daughters: Donna was the middle daughter, an older daughter named Valerie who was already in college, and a younger sister named Tina who appeared in the episode "Eric's Burger Job." Valerie and Tina were quickly phased out and never seen or referenced again, leaving Donna as the Pinciotti's only daughter. This is a similar occurrence to what happened to Chuck Cunningham on "Happy Days" and to Judy Winslow on "Family Matters."

Famous quotes containing the word daughters:

Morality measured in centimeters: all mothers believe that only their daughters dance decently.
    José Bergamín (1895–1983)

Because relationships are a primary source of self-esteem for girls and women, daughters need to know they will not lose our love if they speak up for what they want to tell us how they feel about things. . . . Teaching girls to make specific requests, rather than being indirect and agreeable, will help them avoid the pitfalls of having to be manipulative and calculating to get what they want.
    Jeanne Elium (20th century)

Damn me, what a misery it is to have daughters when a man has a good mare and dogs.
    John Osborne (1929–1994)
