• MSI introduced the 1st 486/586 mainboard

1995

• MSI introduced Dual Pentium Pro-based mainboard (MS-5129)

1997

• MSI introduced the World’s 1st Dual Pentium II-based mainboard, the 1st graphics card product (MS-4413), and the 1st barebone product
• MSI inaugurated the Plant I in Jung-He city

1998

• MSI became a public company as it went on IPO (Initial Public Offering) on the Taipei Stock Exchange (TAIEX)
