Michael Shenton (born 22 July 1986 in Pontefract, West Yorkshire), is an English professional rugby league footballer currently playing for St. Helens in the Super League. An England international representative Centre, he previously played for the Castleford Tigers before moving to St. Helens in 2010. On 7 June 2012, Shenton re-joined the Tigers for the start of the 2013 season with still a year left at St Helens. Shenton agreed a new four-year deal with his home town club. On 4th December 2012 he was unveiled as the new captain for the 2013 Super League season
