Michael Gordon (born 24 October 1983 in Cooma, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks of the National Rugby League. A New South Wales State of Origin representative goal-kicking winger. Michael Gordon did his schooling via Kingscliff High School and graduated from Year 12 in 2001.

In the 2009 season, Gordon kicked 23 consecutive goals before missing one. Gordon established himself as the Panthers number one goalkicker in 2009.

Michael Gordon's ability to single handedly tear his opposition ultimately turned himself into a fan favourite. In mid-2010, there were rumours suggesting Greg Inglis would arrive to Penrith at the expense of Michael Gordon due to salary cap resrictions, but after hearing from the fans (such as social websites like Facebook and Twitter), Mick Leary decided to opt with Michael Gordon and eliminating any chance of Inglis coming to Penrith. Gordon has been labelled the 'backbone' in Penrith's outside backs.

In May 2012, Phil Gould announced that Gordon would be leaving for the Cronulla Sharks in 2013, on a 3 year deal ending in 2015.
