Medical Waste Tracking Act
The Medical Waste Tracking Act of 1988 is a United States federal law that addressed the handling and disposal of medical waste in coastal areas. The law created a two year program that went into effect in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Puerto Rico on June 24, 1989, and expired on June 21, 1991.
