Bases of Assessment
There are three bases of assessment.
- Expectation Interest/Loss of Bargain. Expectation damages include:
- Benefit of bargain
- Lost profit
- Cost of cover
- Reliance Interest - interest created based on reliance on contract or promise.
- Restitutionary Interest
