Mc Carthy's Single Malt - Production

Production

Aged for 3 years in the foothills of Mt. Hood, Oregon, McCarthy's is made from 100% malted barley imported from Scotland. It is heavily peated, in the Islay tradition of Single Malt Scotch, and draws comparisons to prominent whiskies such as Lagavulin. McCarthy's was a pioneer of the Single Malt American Whisky tradition in the early 1990s and has received equal praise and attention in the years following. The 2008 release received a 96 rating (out of 100) in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible.

Famous quotes containing the word production:

Perestroika basically is creating material incentives for the individual. Some of the comrades deny that, but I can’t see it any other way. In that sense human nature kinda goes backwards. It’s a step backwards. You have to realize the people weren’t quite ready for a socialist production system.
    Gus Hall (b. 1910)

The myth of unlimited production brings war in its train as inevitably as clouds announce a storm.
    Albert Camus (1913–1960)

It is part of the educator’s responsibility to see equally to two things: First, that the problem grows out of the conditions of the experience being had in the present, and that it is within the range of the capacity of students; and, secondly, that it is such that it arouses in the learner an active quest for information and for production of new ideas. The new facts and new ideas thus obtained become the ground for further experiences in which new problems are presented.
    John Dewey (1859–1952)
