Maydown

Coordinates: 55°01′26″N 7°15′04″W / 55.024°N 7.251°W / 55.024; -7.251 Maydown (from Irish: Magh Dúin or Maigh Dhúin meaning "plain of the stronghold") is a small village and townland in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It is near Derry and Strathfoyle and is within the Derry City Council area. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 270 people.
