Maud Olofsson
Maud Elisabeth Olofsson (born Olsson 9 August 1955, Arnäsvall, Örnsköldsvik Municipality, Ångermanland) is a Swedish politician who was party leader of the Centre Party from 2001 to 2011 and Minister for Enterprise and Energy from 2006 to 2011. She was also Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden from 2006 to 2010 and a member of the Riksdag from 2002 to 2011.
Olofsson announced her intent to step down as party leader on June 17, 2011 and was succeeded by Annie Lööf on September 23, 2011.
