International Play
Following his 2010 playoff run with the Canucks, Raymond was added to Team Canada's roster for the 2010 IIHF World Championship in Germany, his first international tournament. Joining the team midway through the tournament during the qualification round, he recorded his lone point of the tournament, an assist, on a goal by Matt Duchene during a 3–2 loss to the Czech Republic. The following game, Canada was eliminated in the quarterfinal by Russia, losing the game 5–2.
