2014 Revival
Fiat announced the Maserati Ghibli will be revived to slot below the Quattroporte and replace the GranTurismo because of confusion with BMW using the GranTurismo name for its hatchback models (e.g. 5-Series GranTurismo). It will be sold in sedan and coupe models. According to Car & Driver, it will be on the Chrysler LX platform shared with the Chrysler 300 & Dodge Charger, but will continue to be produced in Modena, Italy according to Autoweek.
