Mark Hamilton (guitarist)

Mark Hamilton is a British lead guitarist who plays for UK rock band Quench, (ICC Records). He has also played for Warner Bros’ Top 40 artist Doug Walker and features on Doug’s debut album Fear Together (2009) (produced by Danton Supple – producer of Coldplay’s X&Y etc.) as well as ex Dum Dums frontman Josh Doyle in the USA, Vicky Beeching and Martyn Layzell (Survivor Records). He has also appeared with various other artists for TV and recording sessions including Italian superstar Elisa, on the same bill as Destiny's Child at an MTV Live event. His most recent tour is as part of Josh Doyle's band on his current UK tour in May 2009.

His nickname 'Magic' originates from a Doug Walker radio session on Dermot O'Leary's BBC Radio 2 show, where O'Leary referred to Hamilton as 'Magic' after misreading his name on a handwritten note.

Other projects Mark has been linked to include Breakbeat/Punk/Thrash band Psalmistry, pop band TVB and comedy 70s Funk/Disco covers band The Mojo Collective.
