Mark Gangloff

Mark Daniel Gangloff (born June 8, 1982) is an American former competition swimmer who earned a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics by swimming in the 4x100-meter medley relay preliminaries. He came in fourth place for the 100m breaststroke. Gangloff also participated in the 100m breaststroke during the 2008 Summer Olympics and placed eighth.

Gangloff broke the American Record in the 100m breaststroke with a time of 59.01 at the USA Swimming National Championships on July 7, 2009.

He attended Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Auburn University in 2005 with a degree in criminology. Gangloff appeared in the 2006 movie The Guardian.
