Manic Eden were a short-lived hard rock band featuring former Whitesnake members Adrian Vandenberg, Rudy Sarzo and Tommy Aldridge. At first, the band featured singer James Christian of House of Lords, but he was already fired shortly after the founding of Manic Eden and replaced by former Little Caesar singer Ron Young.

Famous quotes containing the words manic and/or eden:

    I was a fire-breathing Catholic C.O.,
    and made my manic statement,
telling off the state and president, and then
sat waiting sentence in the bull pen
beside a Negro boy with curlicues
    of marijuana in his hair.
    Robert Lowell (1917–1977)

The flame from the angel’s sword in the garden of Eden has been catalysed into the atom bomb; God’s thunderbolt became blunted, so man’s dunderbolt has become the steel star of destruction.
    Sean O’Casey (1884–1964)
