Macquarie Island Station

Macquarie Island Station, known as Macca to staff, is a permanent Australian subantarctic research base on Macquarie Island, lying about half-way between Australia and Antarctica. The station lies at the base of Wireless Hill, between two bays on the isthmus at the northern end of the island.
