The Lutheran West Promise
In 2011, the school coined the phrase "The Lutheran West Promise" that encompasses six distinct aspects of student life:
- Christian Principles: Christian principles are taught and guide every aspect of a student's educational experience.
- Rigorous Academics: Students are prepared for both college and life.
- Nurturing Community: Each individual is valued and nurtured in a caring Christian community.
- Servant Leadership: Opportunities are provided to develop outreach leadership skills.
- Challenging Opportunities: Students are involved in a wealth of challenging activities that develop the whole person.
- Life Purpose / Vocation: Students are encouraged to begin exploring God's purpose for his/her life.
Through The Lutheran West Promise, students are engaged in a Christian community where each individual has value and is prepared, encouraged and challenged to excel. It is a promise Lutheran West has delivered on for over 50 years.
