Louisiana Highway 888 is an west–east state highway located in northeast Louisiana. The western terminus of the route is at Louisiana Highway 4 east of Newlight. The eastern terminus is at Louisiana Highway 605 three miles (5 km) north of Newellton.
From LA 4, LA 888 heads north for five miles (8 km) before turning to the east. After 6.5 miles (10.5 km), LA 888 intersects Louisiana Highway 575, running concurrent with the route for two miles (3 km) before splitting near Somerset. LA 888 heads to the south-southeast, intersecting U.S. Route 65 before ending at LA 605 on the bank of Lake St. George.
All of LA 888 is a two-lane roadway.
