Louisiana Highway 378 - Route Description

Route Description

LA 378 begins at an I-10 service road near I-10's Exit 27 in Westlake. It travels north passing through a mix of commercial businesses and residential homes. At Phillips Road, LA 378 turns east for one block before turning north again at Davis Road. After crossing the West Fork Calcasieu River, LA 378 begins to curve to due east. It intersects LA 378 Spur which provides access to Sam Houston Jones State Park. At this point, LA 378 is signed east and west (it was signed north and south before here) and is known as Sam Houston Jones Parkway. As the highway travels east, it passes through a mix of businesses, schools, and churches until it ends at U.S. Route 171 in Moss Bluff.

LA 378 is undivided and four lanes wide with a center turning lane except between John Stine Road and LA 378 Spur where it is only two lanes wide.
