Lorena Ochoa Invitational
The Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex and Jalisco It Happens Within You is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour. Hosted by Lorena Ochoa, the event debuted in November 2008 at the course where she learned to play, Guadalajara Country Club in Guadalajara, México.
The Lorena Ochoa Invitational is a 72-hole limited-field tournament, limited to 36 golfers. The top five golfers in the Rolex Women's World Rankings are invited, in addition to the top 26 players on the LPGA money list not already in the field via the rankings. Another five golfers are invited through sponsor exemptions.
The course at the Guadlajara Country Club is par-72 and 6,638 yards (6,070 m) at an elevation exceeding 5,000 feet (1,500 m) above sea level.
