Music
The title song performed by Welsh group Stereophonics. It is identical to the Long Way Round theme, only with the lyric "round" replaced with "down".
The soundtrack features a range of music drawn substantially from the catalogue of artists recorded by Real World Records, which produced the accompanying album. Co-director of photography Jimmy Simak also acted as musical coordinator.

Famous quotes containing the word music:
“But the dark changed to red, and torches shone,
And deafening music shook the leaves; a troop
Shouldered a litter with a wounded man,
Or smote upon the string and to the sound
Sang of the beast that gave the fatal wound.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
“It was a poetic recreation to watch those distant sails steering for half-fabulous ports, whose very names are a mysterious music to our ears.... It is remarkable that men do not sail the sea with more expectation. Nothing was ever accomplished in a prosaic mood.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“If you really believe music is dangerous, you should let it go in one ear and out the other.”
—José Bergamín (18951983)
