Is the illegitimate son of Johannes von Lahnstein with his wife's sister Maria di Balbi. He has a son, Hannes with his second wife, Tanja von Anstetten. He was also married to Nathalie Käppler and had an adulterous affair with Lydia Brandner, his cousin's wife. Lydia later gave birth to their son Nick Brandner. Ansgar also has a daughter Kim Wolf from a one night stand with Viktoria Wolf. Both Ansgar and Kim are unaware of the connection.

Son of Adrian Degenhardt and the late Francesca di Balbi. Was raised by her husband Johannes. Brother of Leonard and half-brother of Ansgar and Carla. His best friend was Paul Brandner until he left town with his great love Anne Siebert. Constantin had a relationship with Paul's adoptive sister Lisa Brandner and was in love with Judith Hagendorf, with whom he left to study in London for a while. After his return he had an affair with Nathalie Käppler. But she ended things to marry her boyfriend Matthias Brandner.

Elisabeth von Lahnstein

Sister of Irene Cornelius. Mother of Nina Ryan and granddaughter of Lara Cornelius. Was married to Nina's father to his death. Married and later divorced Arno Brandner. Had adulterous affairs with Luke Esser and Johannes von Lahnstein. She then was married to Johannes to his death. Currently married to Johannes' half-brother Ludwig von Lahnstein.

Hannes von Lahnstein

(Daniel and Simon Kühn, 2006-2008; Jonas Enderer, 2008-present)

Also known as Hannes von Anstetten. He is the son of Tanja von Anstetten and Ansgar von Lahnstein and was the temporary main heir to the Lahnstein fortune, thanks to a faked will of his grandfather Johannes by his father. His aunt Carla became his legal guardian after Tanja and Ansgar lost custody of him. He is raised together with his cousin Sophia for a while, before going back to his parents when they get married in summer 2008.

Helena von Lahnstein

(Renée Weibel, 2009-present)

Is the daughter of Ludwig von Lahnstein, the twin-sister of Tristan and sister to Hagen, Sebastian and Rebecca. She is also the cousin of Carla and Ansgar von Lahnstein, Sarah Hofmann and Nico von Lahnstein. Her uncle is the late Johannes von Lahnstein. Helena studies archeology at the University of Heidelberg.

Leonard von Lahnstein

Also known as Dr. Leonard von Lahnstein. He is the son of Francesca von Lahnstein and her former lover Adrian Degenhardt, but is raised by Johannes von Lahnstein. When Leonard comes to town, he falls in love with an attractive young woman the first time he lays eyes on her. He is shocked when he finds out that this woman is his new stepmother Cécile de Maron. The two have an affair together, before Johannes finds out and divorces Cécile. Later Leonard and Cécile are expecting a child and get married. But days after their wedding, Cécile and their unborn child die after a terrible car accident. Leonard then finds new love in Sarah Hofmann, who turns out to be Johannes' daughter. Not knowing that he isn't Johannes' biological son, he moves on and marries Jana Brandner, a good friend of Sarah's. But the truth about Adrian being Leonard's real father comes out eventually and Leonard sleeps with Sarah. Jana later dies after being in a car accident with her rival Sarah; uniting Leonard and Sarah on her deathbed. Sarah needs some time before getting into a relationship with Leonard. The two get married in fall 2008. Leonard moves to Boston with his new wife in the following year.

Ludwig von Lahnstein

Is the supposedly dead brother of the late Johannes von Lahnstein. He's also the father of Hagen, Sebastian, Helena, Tristan and Rebecca von Lahnstein. He has three nieces, Carla von Lahnstein, Nico von Lahnstein and Sarah Hofmann, as well as one nephew, Ansgar von Lahnstein. One of his best friends was his brother's rival Adrian Degenhardt, who became their surrogate father after Ludwig was believed to be dead.

Lydia von Lahnstein

(Theresa Underberg, 2008-2011)

Born as Lydia Brandner, she's the daughter to Matthias and Katja Brandner and sister to David, Fabian and Christina. Lydia marries Sebastian von Lahnstein in spite of him having a daughter with Katja. She later has an adulterous affair with Sebastian's cousin Ansgar; leading them to separate. Lydia divorces Sebastian and even gets engaged to Ansgar; expecting his child. But the two eventually break up over Ansgar's schemes and Lydia leaves him and Düsseldorf, moving to her father and his wife Nathalie to Auckland in New Zealand. Off-screen she gives birth to son Nick Brandner in July 2011.

She is the daughter of Ludwig von Lahnstein and the younger sister of Hagen, Sebastian, Helena, and Tristan. She comes to Düsseldorf to visit Sebastian and soon becomes interested in coffee lounge owner Gregor Mann. After the romance doesn't last and Rebecca seems to have problems finding the right man, she finds herself surprisingly attracted to waitress Miriam Pesch. She later leaves for New York and a few month's after returning, falls in love with Marlene Wolf, Tristan's girlfriend.

Sarah von Lahnstein

Born as Sarah Käppler and well known as Sarah Hofmann. She is the illegitimate daughter of Johannes von Lahnstein as a result of a one-night-stand with his maid Elke Käppler. Sarah was married to Gregor Mann and is currently married to Leonard von Lahnstein. While married to Gregor, she got pregnant, but lost the child in a car accident. She also was a drug addicted, after she blames herself with the death of Leonard's second wife Jana. Sarah marries Leonard in 2008, after getting divorced from Gregor. In the following year, the couple moves to Boston.

Sebastian von Lahnstein

(Joscha Kiefer, 2007-2009; Sebastian Schlemmer, 2009-present)

He's the son of Ludwig von Lahnstein and his late wife Madeline. Sebastian is also the brother to Hagen, Helena, Tristan and Rebecca von Lahnstein. After dating Lydia Brandner, he has a one-night-stand with her mother Katja, which results in his daughter Christina, who's raised by Lydia's father Matthias. He later marries Lydia in spite of all, only to see his marriage fall apart one year later, when Lydia has an adulterous affair with Sebastian's cousin Ansgar von Lahnstein. Currently, Lydia is expecting either Sebastian or Ansgar's child.

Tanja von Lahnstein

(Miriam Lahnstein, 1995-1998, 2001, 2004-present)

Born as Tanja Wittkamp and well known as Tanja von Anstetten. Is the daughter of Annegret Wittkamp and the sister of Meike Breuer. Tanja has a son, Hannes, with her former fiancé Ansgar von Lahnstein. She was married to Ben von Anstetten to his death. Soon later, she married his son Rajan Rai to get the money that Ben left for him. However, as soon as they were married, Tanja killed Rajan. She is also the murderer of Tim Sander, Cleo Winter and her former boss Donald Rush. Tanja had a long-time rivalry with Clarissa von Anstetten. Currently Tanja has Charlie Schneider and Ansgar's great love Nathalie von Lahnstein as enemies. In the moment, Tanja got Nathalie behind bars for attempted murder, because she wants to marry Ansgar to become access to the Lahnstein fortune.

Tristan von Lahnstein
