National Leagues
There are three independently-run national amateur leagues recognized by the United States Soccer Federation through an affiliation with the USASA, but which are considered to be independent leagues competing at a higher level than other USASA-affiliated amateur leagues. These are:
- USL Premier Development League (PDL) run by the United Soccer Leagues organization (Level 4)
- National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) (Level 4)
- National Star Soccer League (NSSL) (Level 5)
