List Of United States Marine Corps MOS

The United States Marine Corps's Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) is a system of categorizing career fields. All enlisted and officer Marines are assigned a four digit code denoting their occupational field and specialty.

Occupational Fields (OccFlds) are identified in the first two digits and represent a grouping of related MOSs. Job codes are identified in the last two digits and represent a specific job within that OccFld. An MOS can be awarded as a Primary MOS (PMOS), an Additional MOS (AMOS), a Skill Designator, or Category II MOS (which denote special skills assignments or simply to account for structure when required).

Below are listed the current authorized Marine Corps MOSs, organized by OccFld, then by specific MOS. Most MOSs have specific rank/pay grade requirements and are listed to the right of the MOS title, if applicable (see United States Marine Corps rank insignia), abbreviated from the highest allowed rank to the lowest. Officer ranks are noted as Unrestricted Line Officers (ULOs), Limited Duty Officers (LDOs), and Warrant Officers (WOs). Those MOSs which are no longer being awarded are kept active to allow Marines to earn a new MOS.

Feminism is an entire world view or gestalt, not just a laundry list of women’s issues.
    Charlotte Bunch (b. 1944)

My list of things I never pictured myself saying when I pictured myself as a parent has grown over the years.
    Polly Berrien Berends (20th century)

... when we shall have our amendment to the Constitution of the United States, everyone will think it was always so, just exactly as many young people believe that all the privileges, all the freedom, all the enjoyments which woman now possesses were always hers. They have no idea of how every single inch of ground that she stands upon to-day has been gained by the hard work of some little handful of women of the past.
    Susan B. Anthony (1820–1906)

Institutions of higher education in the United States are products of Western society in which masculine values like an orientation toward achievement and objectivity are valued over cooperation, connectedness and subjectivity.
    Yolanda Moses (b. 1946)

People run away from the name subsidy. It is a subsidy. I am not afraid to call it so. It is paid for the purpose of giving a merchant marine to the whole country so that the trade of the whole country will be benefitted thereby, and the men running the ships will of course make a reasonable profit.... Unless we have a merchant marine, our navy if called upon for offensive or defensive work is going to be most defective.
    William Howard Taft (1857–1930)

There was nothing to equal it in the whole history of the Corps Diplomatique.
    James Boswell (1740–1795)
