List of Turn A Gundam Mobile Units

The mechanical design of the anime Turn A Gundam is the first and only in the series, using a non-Japanese designer. Industrial designer Syd Mead designed these mecha with the view of simple and realistic, instead of following Japanese trend of mecha like designs, he introduced more industrial design methods into the mechas. The new designs are very controversial to the fans, and the director Yoshiyuki Tomino felt that they are exotic and are not generally accepted. However, this is also what he intended and he did not think the hard work is wasted, since the show overall received good comments. The show also used mechas from older series.

Famous quotes containing the words list of, list, turn, mobile and/or units:

Every morning I woke in dread, waiting for the day nurse to go on her rounds and announce from the list of names in her hand whether or not I was for shock treatment, the new and fashionable means of quieting people and of making them realize that orders are to be obeyed and floors are to be polished without anyone protesting and faces are to be made to be fixed into smiles and weeping is a crime.
    Janet Frame (b. 1924)

I am opposed to writing about the private lives of living authors and psychoanalyzing them while they are alive. Criticism is getting all mixed up with a combination of the Junior F.B.I.- men, discards from Freud and Jung and a sort of Columnist peep- hole and missing laundry list school.... Every young English professor sees gold in them dirty sheets now. Imagine what they can do with the soiled sheets of four legal beds by the same writer and you can see why their tongues are slavering.
    Ernest Hemingway (1899–1961)

    Every time I get happy
    the Nana-hex comes through.
    Birds turn into plumber’s tools,
a sonnet turns into a dirty joke,
a wind turns into a tracheotomy,
a boat turns into a corpse....
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)

From three to six months, most babies have settled down enough to be fun but aren’t mobile enough to be getting into trouble. This is the time to pay some attention to your relationship again. Otherwise, you may spend the entire postpartum year thinking you married the wrong person and overlooking the obvious—that parenthood can create rough spots even in the smoothest marriage.
    Anne Cassidy (20th century)

Even in harmonious families there is this double life: the group life, which is the one we can observe in our neighbour’s household, and, underneath, another—secret and passionate and intense—which is the real life that stamps the faces and gives character to the voices of our friends. Always in his mind each member of these social units is escaping, running away, trying to break the net which circumstances and his own affections have woven about him.
    Willa Cather (1873–1947)
