List Of The Claidi Journals Characters
Claidi is a 16-year-old girl who was raised as a slave in the House. One day, an unknown stranger crashes a hot air balloon in the House Garden. This stranger is Nemian. Against all odds, Claidi escapes with Nemian and they cross the Waste together. They stay with a Hulta tribe run by Argul for a while, and Claidi almost gives up on Nemian at one point. However, she decides not to and they travel to Nemian's home, which is called the Wolf Tower.
Prince Nemian is a prince whose hot air balloon was shot down by the House Guards. He takes Claidi back with him to the Wolf Tower. Along the way, he flirts with Claidi, gets her feelings, and then tricks her to come with him to his City. At the City, Claidi discovers Nemian had lied about everything he said to her, and he was already happily married to Moon Silk.
Argul is the former leader of the Hulta tribe Claidi and Nemian stay with on their way to the Wolf Tower. He gave up his position to his close friend, Blurn, in order to search for Claidi when she was kidnapped by Hrald and Yazkool. He dresses up as "Jelly", and goes to the Rise to find Claidi. She doesn't discover his true identity until in: Queen of the Wolves
Prince Venarion Yllar Kaslem-Idoros is a prince who usually goes by his nickname "Venn". He was told that Claidi was a tantrum-throwing, deceiving, and heartless girl that had demanded to be taken to the Rise. But after reading Claidi's beloved journal, he realizes she is telling the truth.
Ustareth is the genius mother of Argul and Venn. She is dark, with smoky skin and very dark, ankle-length hair. She was an extraordinary scientist/magician, and she tamed, created, and did many things to the environment of the Rise.
