- An enhanced remake of Super Robot Wars A that uses Original Generations' graphics engine. The game removes the original's "Shield HP System" and introduces modern gameplay mechanics; it is also the first game to utilize "Successive Target Adjustment," a system which reduces a unit's chance of evading an attack each time that it successfully dodges. Infamous for high unit evasion rates, making it difficult for both the player and the enemies to land hits, and the fixture of the "save & load manipulation" trick, so the same battle result is produced even if the game is reset and reloaded. Some of the game's art assets are taken from previous titles.

- The direct sequel to Super Robot Wars Z for the Playstation 2, 2nd Z is divided into separate parts in a manner similar to F/Final and the Compact 2 series. The game series consists of the Destruction Chapter (破界篇, Hakai Hen?) and the Regeneration Chapter (再世篇, Saisei Hen?). The first part is the best selling handheld SRW to date.
