Sree Narayana World Council, USA
Sree Narayana World Council was formed in New York on November 24, 1998 to organize global conventions to promote Sree Narayana Guru's teachings and philosophy worldwide. It was initiated by Bhaskaran Aravindakshan and the initial governing committee includes Dr. Nanu Kandiyil, President, Bhaskaran Aravindakshan,Secretary and Sureshkumar Narayanan, Chairman. Ayyappan Janardanan was the Convention committee Secretary of 1st Global Convention and Babu Uthaman, CPA renderd remarkable service in the administrative area. The very first Global convention & Inter Religion Harmony Conference committee also includes Ambassador Sreenivasan & Dr. Sreedhar Kavil, K. Velayudhan, Shan Madhavan, P. K. Divakaran, Govindan Appu, C.G. Padmasenan, C.G. Udayabhanu & Lakshmikutty G. Panicker. The first global convention was held in Parsippany, New Jersey in August 5-8th, 1999 with full support and participation of Mr. Vellappally Natesan, General Secretary of SNDP Yogom, Kerala, India. The 2nd global convention was held on year 2000 in Singapore, and it was conducted by Sree Narayana Mission of Singapore under the leadership of Advocate Sujatha Bhargavan, President of SNMS with the support and participation of Sree Narayana World Council led by B. Aravindakshan, M N Jayarajan, Govindan K Janardanan, S. K. Sreekumar and SNDP Yogom. The 3rd Global convention was held on year 2003 in Gokulampark Inn Cochin India and it was hosted by Sree Narayana Darma Paripalana Yogom and Sree Narayana World Council. B. Aravindakshan, M.N. jayarajan and Govindan K. Janardanan, Babu Uthaman and S K Sreekumar,Palakkal Babu were in the organizing committee representing SNW Council. Swami Swaswatheekananda and Swami Sookshmananda of Sivagiri Mutt gave guidance and support for the conventions in the USA and Singapore; and they were present and brought delegates from many countries to the conventions. Dignitaries and delegates from India, Singapore, Malaysia, UAE and USA attended the Sree Narayana Global conventions and Inter faith harmony conferences. Three Global conventions lead to many progressive initiatives in India, especially in the state of Kerala and among the followers of Sree Narayana Gurudeva worldwide.
