SR 700 (Washington County)

State Route 700 is a secondary state highway in Washington County, Virginia, United States. It runs 31.06 miles (49.99 km) in a general northeasterly direction from U.S. Route 58/U.S. Route 421 west of Bristol to State Route 645 near its junction with State Route 91 in Saltville. 5.15 miles (8.29 km) at the southwest end (past Benham) were added to the state highway system in 1932, and assigned the number State Route 75 in the 1933 renumbering. In the 1940 renumbering, SR 75 was renumbered State Route 77 to allow State Route 75 to be used at the Tennessee state line. In 1942, all of SR 77 was transferred to the secondary system as an extension of SR 700.
