List of Police Camera Action! Episodes - Episode Confusion

Episode Confusion

There has been some confusion over the titles of the early episodes. Police Stop was the pilot episode of Police, Camera, Action! and, to date is the only episode not to be re-screened in recent repeats. It is actually believed that the first episode of Police, Camera, Action! (broadcast in September 1994) was initially called "Police! Stop", and later given the episode name of "Danger! Drivers Ahead" for recent repeats. "Police, Camera, Action '95" was never issued with an episode name itself. To cause less confusion, it is referred to as "Police, Camera, Action '95". The reason for this episode not being given an episode name itself to this date has not been established.

There is also confusion over the recent Series 5. The first ten episodes are classed as Series 5, Part 1, although the episode "The Crushers" was not broadcast until Autumn 2008. The next 22 episodes up to "Under Surveillance" are classed as Series 5, Part 2.

Famous quotes containing the words episode and/or confusion:

Youth is the period in which a man can be hopeless. The end of every episode is the end of the world. But the power of hoping through everything, the knowledge that the soul survives its adventures, that great inspiration comes to the middle-aged.
    Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874–1936)

Behind her was confusion in the room,
Of chairs turned upside down to sit like people
In other chairs, and something, come to look,
For every room a house has parlor, bedroom,
And dining room thrown pell-mell in the kitchen.
    Robert Frost (1874–1963)
