National Route 8 is only included for sake of completion, as most of it has been reassigned the Metro 8 shield (see above); portions remaining have been designated as M8.

Route 8: Bacchus Marsh to Parkville

Western Freeway (Victoria) (this section now signed M8) Dual carriageway - 4 to 6 lanes
