Similar to "The Singer and the Song", except that one member of the team sings the song "straight", and the other responds to each line. Examples include "Underneath the Arches", sung by Flannagan and Alan Whicker (in which Willie Rushton as Whicker is unable to comprehend the existence of a poor person) and "Puff the Magic Dragon" by Peter, Paul and Mary Whitehouse (in which Sandi Toksvig as Whitehouse found double entendres in every line). One notable round had Tim singing "Won't You Come Home Bill Bailey", with Bill Bailey responding as "himself".
