The Fatwa Against Production, Stockpiling and Use of Nuclear Weapons
An official Iranian statement released on August 9, 2005 at the Vienna meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) claimed that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had issued a fatwa forbidding the production, stockpiling and use of nuclear weapons.
