Ashley Jennings played by Tony Boncza, is the fiancé of Christian Clarke (John Partridge), who appeared in the episode broadcast on 17 January 2008. He was described by Soaplife as Christian's rich "sugar daddy". In the episode, Ashley and Christian have a meal with Christian's sister Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) and her husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt). Ashley leaves the meal early after Christian reveals that he was in love with Jane's ex-husband David Collins (Dan Milne). He and Christian break up, and Christian moves in with the Beales.
