List of Coronation Street Characters (2008) - Anna McIntyre

Anna McIntyre is the mother of Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan), played by actress Susan Mitchell. Anna appears in one episode in May 2008. Anna appears after receiving a telephone call from Gail Platt (Helen Worth), telling her that Tina is OK after moving into the Platts' house earlier on in the week. Fuming at the innocent call, Anna storms round to the house demanding to see Tina, and doesn't hold back in letting her know her feelings on the matter. An argument ensues as Anna calls Tina's boyfriend David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) a criminal, to which Tina responds by revealing that she is pregnant with his child. As the argument escalates, Gail intervenes and throws Anna out.

Anna is later mentioned by Tina as being too upset to attend the funeral of her ex-husband Joe (Reece Dinsdale) in March 2010. Tina tells her boyfriend Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) that Anna feels guilty about her and Joe always arguing after their separation and she didn't want to come as she believed it would make her a hypocrite.
