She has released two studio albums: 19 was released in January 2008 and 21 was released in January 2011 through XL Recordings and Columbia Records. Several singles from 19 charted on the United States' Billboard charts and the United Kingdom's Singles Chart, including "Chasing Pavements", "Cold Shoulder", "Hometown Glory", and "Make You Feel My Love".

The success of Adele's debut album won her several awards, including Critic's Choice from the Brit Awards, a European Border Breakers Award for Best Album and a Grammy Award for Best New Artist.
