  • ka (カ) - cord, thread, yarn; trap (possessed form kaha)
  • ka (カ) - above, over, up
    • kanna (カンナ) - upper
    • kata (カタ) - atop, on top of, over, above (< ka + locative case marker -ta)
  • kam (カㇺ) - meat, flesh (possessed form kami or kamihi)
  • kampi (カンピ) - paper; a letter, a missive (cf. Japanese kami "paper" and tegami "a letter, a missive" < te "hand; handwriting" + kami "paper")
    • kampi-sos (カンピソㇱ) - book (< Japanese kami "paper" + obsolete Sino-Japanese 冊子 *sakusi > *sausi > sōshi "book")

    • Kamuy-Kara-Puto-Ya-Mosir (カムィカラプトヤモシㇼ) - supposedly means "mouth of water"; refers to Karafuto, or the mouth of the Amur River
    • Kamuy-Mosir (カムィモシㇼ) - "Land of the Gods"; heaven
    • kamuy-nomi (カムィノミ) - to pray to the gods
  • kani (カニ) - metal, iron (カネ kane in Saru and Chitose dialects; cf. Japanese kane "metal; money")
