Liang (Chinese: 梁) (Chinese) or Lương (Vietnamese) Yang 양 (Korean) is a surname common in China, Korea and Vietnam. Meaning "a beam", "a bridge", or "an elevation", or "a mast", the surname is often transliterated as Leung (in Hong Kong) or Leong (in Macau, Malaysia, and Singapore) according to its Cantonese pronunciation, or Neo / Nio / Niu (Hokkien, Teochew, Hainan). It is also common in Korea, where it is pronounced Yang. To Chinese Indonesians, it is known as Neonardi or Antonio. In Tibet, it is known as Tenzin.

It ranks 22nd of the top 100 in Wikipedia's List of common Chinese surnames as of 2012.
