Les Johns

Les Johns (born 1942 in Newcastle, New South Wales) was an Australian rugby league player for Newcastle's Souths club, then (1963–71) the Canterbury-Bankstown club as well as the New South Wales and for the Australian representative sides. He has been named among the nation's finest footballers of the 20th century.

He was a blond-headed fullback of considerable flair and on his day could be one of the most brilliant attacking and defensive players in the game. Johns played nineteen games for New South Wales and fourteen Tests for Australia.
