Legacy (Poco Album)

Legacy (Poco Album)

Legacy is the 19th album by the Country rock band Poco, released in 1989. The album reunited the five original members of the group (from the Pickin' Up the Pieces album) and contained two top-40 singles, "Call It Love" and "Nothin' to Hide."

Some Poco fans were unhappy that Timothy B. Schmit and Paul Cotton were not involved in the making of this album, because, while they were not part of the original Poco lineup, they stayed longer and became more associated with the band than the people they replaced, Randy Meisner (who only appeared on the first album) and Jim Messina. However, the intent of this album was to reunite the band's original five members, to see if they could have been successful had Meisner not left before the first album was released.

Legacy was the second Poco album to be certified gold.
