Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy - History

History

In 1992, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of National University of Singapore (NUS) established a Master of Public Policy Programme, collaborate with the Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University.

On September 16, 2003, Prime Minister of Singapore Goh Chok Tong announced the establishment of NUS School of Public Policy, which was named in the honour to the nation's first and longest-serving Prime Minister, Lee Kuan Yew.

The school was formally launched on 16 August 2004.
