Law enforcement in Serbia is the primary responsibility of the Serbian Police, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The ministry is responsible for all local and national law enforcement services in Serbia. The General Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has 15 organizational units and 27 Regional Police Directorates.
