  • 2001 Photograph appears in book “This Was The Photo League.” Published by Stephen Daiter Gallery, Chicago, Il. Moves studio to Shelton, Connecticut.
  • 2000 Completes second series of photographs on China.
  • 1999 Photograph appears in book, “Photography from 1839 to Today.” George Eastman House, Rochester, New York. Begins second series of photographs on China by special invitation from the Chinese Photographer's Association and The China Photo Press
  • 1997 Awarded First Prize at the International Photographic Exhibition, “China Through A Foreigner’s Eyes.” National Museum of Chinese History, Beijing.
  • 1996 Begins series on China by special invitation from the city of Yangzhou, China.
  • 1995 Signs contract with Canon USA to represent Canon Cameras in the United States.
  • 1991 American Society of Media Photographers selects photograph for exhibition and book. Out of 13,000 entries, only 186 are selected for “Ten Thousand Eyes” celebration of 150 years of photography.
  • 1988 Represented in “American Photographs,” an illustrated “Who’s Who” amojng leading contemporaries, published by American References. Full-page photograph included in book, “Athletes,” published by Knopf.
  • 1981 First exhibit of personal photographs: “Retrospective,” The Carlson Gallery, University of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
  • 1977 Studio Photography Instructor, School of Visual Arts, 1977-1982.
  • 1975 Basic Photography Instructor, LaGuardia Community College. Becomes member of American Society of Magazine Photographers. Begins five-year project: “Sherwood Island, A Connecticut State Park.”
  • 1973 Moves residence from New York to Westport, Connecticut. Begins photographing “Connecticut Life” series.
  • 1969 Attends film classes at New York University, 1969-1971.
  • 1960 Opens advertising studio in New York City.
  • 1959 Returns to New York to work in color labs doing dye transfers and Type C prints.
  • 1957 Works for commercial photographers and experiments with new Type C color process.
  • 1956 Graduates Art Center School with Bachelor of Arts Degree.
  • 1954 Attends Art Center School. Photographs Muscle Beach, Santa Monica, California.
  • 1953 Receives award in National High School Photo Contest. Appears in Youth Forum, a television program representing Photography in Modern Art. Receives 26th Annual National Scholastic Awards Scholarship to the Art Center School in Los Angeles, California.
  • 1952 Full-page photograph appears in Seventeen Magazine “It’s All Yours” issue. Appears in American Photography, five page article “Young Photographer #1.”
  • 1949 Begins photographing the Bronx and Manhattan while attending the High School of Industrial Arts in Manhattan.
  • 1934 Born Bronx, New York.
