Larry R. Thompson (born 1947) is the current president of Ringling College of Art plus Design in Sarasota, Florida. Starting in 2007 with the Ulla Searing Student Center, he intends on rebuilding all of Ringling College to be 5 stories tall over the coming years. Prior to his Ringling College post Dr. Thompson is known for being CEO of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and helping architect I. M. Pei realize the current site design.
