Sports and Traditions
The Thunderhawk is the mascot of Lakota East. The school colors are black and white and red. The school is classified a Division 1 school in all sports under OHSAA standards and is a member of the Greater Miami Conference. The Thunderhawks won their first team state title when the Lakota East Baseball Team won in 2011 under head coach Ray Hamilton.
