The Future
Following a £1.8 million refurbishment in June 2004, Ladywell Leisure Centre offers state-of-the-art facilities. Following the consultation period Ladywell Leisure Centre will now be open until October 2007. Lewisham Council plan to replace it with a secondary school, and are planning to build a new leisure centre which they say will open in 2010. Ladywell leisure centre is also home to saxon crown swimming club which offers lessons and training which leads to competitions and leagues for 9+ years.
