UK & C.O.S. Brands
Kopparberg's cider was introduced in 2003 to the UK by B O Times1 Limited with the Pear and Apple variants. Between 2003 and 2007 listings with Pub Groups like Wetherspoons were achieved but with great difficulty as Cider was not as fashionable as it is today in the UK. As the Brewery had made it a "policy of not having contracts" with distributors in various countries it was relatively easy to take over the already established accounts and take the brand to the next level. With this view, Cider of Sweden Ltd. (C.O.S. Brands) was established as a joint venture between the CEO and The Irish Drinks Magnate, Barry Connelly.
Originally launched in apple and pear cider variations, non-alcoholic pear cider and cider with mixed fruit were added in late 2007. It is now available in 10 variants (Pear, Apple, Mixed Fruit, Strawberry & Lime, Elderflower & Lime, Naked Apple, Alcohol Free Pear Cider, and Alcohol Free Mixed Fruit Cider, plus Summer Fruits and Winter Fruits which are only sold in pubs and bars). Kopparberg also releases limited edition flavours, including Witches Brew (Blackcurrant) in October 2006, Cherry in 2007, Raspberry in summer 2011 and 2012, Cranberry and Cinnamon, and Cloudberry in 2012.

Famous quotes containing the word brands:
“On the other side, the conservative party, composed of the most moderate, able, and cultivated part of the population, is timid, and merely defensive of property. It vindicates no right, it aspires to no real good, it brands no crime, it proposes no generous policy, it does not build, nor write, nor cherish the arts, nor foster religion, nor establish schools, nor encourage science, nor emancipate the slave, nor befriend the poor, or the Indian, or the immigrant.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
