Grade Points Competition
Students of KCVI participate in a Grade Points competition, in which different themes days (called "Spirit Days") are decided by the Students' Association and the grade with the most students participating in that theme are awarded grade points. The grade with the most grade points at the end of the year is awarded a prize. Prizes in the past include various KCVI memorabilia.
Notable Spirit Days in the past include:
- Grade Colour Days - Each class is given a specific colour, and keeps that colour until their class graduates. On Grade Colour Days, the class must wear their assigned Grade Colour
- Basshunter Dayz - Students have to go around the school finding hidden pictures of the Swedish DJ Basshunter
- Gunther Appreciation Day - Students dress up as the world-famous singer Gunther. Grades get points based on various categories
- K-Carnival - Live bands, carnival games, BBQ, inflatable games and obstacle courses for the whole school. Every year in late May.
